As many of you know, friend and fellow author Lindsay Schopfer hosts an annual Fan Art Contest for his fans.

On the off chance you require more incentive than this, here are three reasons you should consider entering the contest yourself.
3. You’ll be entering alongside me
Yes, you read right. I myself was the winner of the “Best Creature” category of the contest in 2020 with a piece that was briefly on display in the art gallery of my local library. I’ve entered twice in the contest’s three-year history, and intend to do so again this year. So, needless to say, you’ll be in good company at the very least.
2. You could win a sweet prize!
“Wait, there are prizes?!”
Why, yes, there are in fact prizes! Actually, if you join Lindsay’s Fan Community and help meet the next milestone goal, you can have a hand in making sure that said prizes are even more awesome in the future! Pretty cool that you can take part in the contest even if you don’t plan on entering yourself, right?
1. It’s fun!
Let’s be honest, the greatest reason of all to enter this thing is because Lindsay has created some awesome worlds with great characters, creatures, and visuals. As an artist, bringing those things to life is a super fun experience and, really, its own reward even outside of the prizes you can win.
So, consider whipping up a piece this year and joining in on the fun. I know I’m going to.
